Conditions changed concerning the media in Egypt, now and in the past . it is now a source of deals and business . in the past , the rich journalists were few . their wildest dream was to have a car , a house or traveling abroad . most of the journalists died in poverty . some of them spent his money on the talented young men As Kamel El shinawi; the great romantic poet and he was a journalist , too , . El Tabe’e – one of a great editor in the fortieth – was rich and enjoyed his life . El Akad was poor , he sold a part of his study before he passed away .

Now the reports are roaming over the offices of the ministers and the businessmen , not looking for items of news or a report , but looking for commercials and advertisements . there are some reporters who leaked to work as counselors for senior officials . there is a mutual corruption amid them . when the great reporters died , the junior ones began to tell lies and scandals . the people’s reputation was a daily provision for sick media . they want an excessive distribution for their newspapers ; to achieve gains , to pile up fortunes on the form of extortion . they are pedantic and pretentious , afterwards , they become centers of power , they turn out to be tycoons .

The journalists , sometimes have nothing to do with the rules of newspapers . they don’t know the tradition or the morals of press . scandals , sex , marriage divorce and nudeness fill thousands of pages . furthermore , there is an approach between these so called newspapers , and the media of satellites which search for episodes of scandals . the reporters are also , preparing programs for these satellites , thrill and scandals were common and the poor readers and viewers are chased by them .

What make matters worse is that the rising capitalism in Egypt doesn’t suffice with monopolising politics , controlling the legitimate power and to be higher voice in the government ; it went to media . we found terrible attempts to sovereign everything. Media changed from tools of spreading thought , awareness and culture into tools of pressure and extortion to the political resolution , and protection to the economical interests . media drove the interests between capitalism and authority . this , on the expense of the cultural role of Egypt which is retreating in front of this unscrupulousness.

This chaos in Egypt can’t be spontaneously , the change of the Egyptian character , in behavior of the new generations ; violence spread awfully , morals are drawn back . the deterioration of education and culture is not usual , but, there are minds studied these schemes ; they sold their country and themselves to devils. Cairo university came 405 of the world universities . four Israeli universities came amid the best 400 universities .

Every city in the world has a spirit of its own like Paris , Rome and New York . the spirit and the glamour of Cairo is the Nile . the Sahara is the greatest desert in the world . from the Atlantic ocean in the west to the Arabian Gulf in the east . Egypt lies in the heart of this desert . But for the Nile - which penetrated it millions of year ago- there wouldn’t have been the ancient civilisations in the world . I think the relation between the Nile and the Egyptians made this gorgeous civilisation . No wonder the ancient Egyptians worshipped the Nile through many gods , ” Habi ” the god of the Nile and ” khonom ” the god of the flood and the creation . they took the papyrus from the Nile to be their symbol of the northern kingdom and the flower of lotus the symbol of the south . from the papyrus they made the oldest kind of paper ; they made the seats , the beds and the boots as well .

The Nile represented the backbone of the life in Egypt , in the field of agriculture , creed , social system and various aspects in life . the Nile had two seasons , one for the flood during July and August where the level of water raises to eight meters and the season of drought ; the rest of the year , the Egyptians sowed the seeds and waited for the harvest . the drought was disaster for the people , the state and the regime. No crops mean raising of prices , people couldn’t pay the taxation the country lived on . the prophet Joseph knew this , he stored the crops year after year , when drought struck the country , they didn’t feel any shortage .

From the mud , the Egyptian made bricks , to build the houses with . from the trees along the banks of the Nile , they build their tools and musical instruments . the people , animals , birds and fish lived on their crops. The evil ” Set ” threw the corpse of his kind brother Osoris in the Nile after it was cut into forty pieces . Isis , his wife , buried the pieces in the forty Egyptian regions . the body of Osoris changes the water of the Nile into water of life , fertilizing the sterile land . Every barren woman , if she desires to give birth to a baby had to fill a pot made of black clay with the Nile water and to go to the cemetery where Osoris ” the god of fertility , and Judge of the Judges of the lower world lives . she should take off her clothes and bathe in the Nile water in symbolic rituals as if she makes love to him . she thought she would undoubtedly give birth to a baby . the Nile is the river of eternity in the hereafter . on the site of the Sunset , the ancient Egyptians built up their pyramids and mourning temples . the Muslims , when coming to Egypt , celebrated the sweet water of the Nile . they believed that the Nile sources come from Aden paradise .

The character of Egypt is the individualism as once said ” Jamal Hamdan ” the late great Egyptian scientist in geography . he thought ; ” Egypt is on top of this special case pf geography . it is the reaction between the position and the site , it is the Nile’s role in formulating Egypt . it is the flooding river environment . Egypt provided its real character from its Nile and land . it is the model of the absolute flooding environment. It is more flooding than any other floods in the world , whether it is the gift of the Nile or the gift of the farmer it will remain as a canal or a stream rather than a Nile . Not only it is the oldest in the world, but it is the heaviest in mud , till now . Since it is the first country of the river , it is also the first country of the desert . it gathers two contrasts the dryness and the life ” .

He thought as well that ” Early in history , Egypt looked like overpopulated closed tube , a lot of people , a lot of villages and cities . it was more populated than any country in the old world . Whether the civilisation was the output of the Nile or the Egyptian farmer , it is the fruit of the happy marriage between the father of the river and the mother of the world : Egypt . It is the only country that the Nile meets the Mediterranean . the largest and greatest river and the lord of the of seas . the cradle of cultivation and the school of navigation , the river of civilisation and the sea of history . the union of the two continents and the approach of the two seas ; as if there were natural fingers pointing to Egypt , as if heavenly sublime plan arranged by the great geographer to make Egypt the greatest geographical pioneer in the world.

No wonder the civilisation of the pharaonic Nile Egypt was the first civilisation in the world “.

I love the Nile , I always go there from time to time . fishing is my hobby ,so one day I went to the Nile bank at Kasr El Nile bridge at dawn . I took my fishing line , a small chair , a bottle of water , sandwiches – falafel and beans ” Medames” ,by the way the word is originally Hieroglyphic . All of a sudden , I saw a figure swimming towards me , I thought someone might swim and doing exercises . to my astonishment I saw a white naked woman , her hair was hanging on her shoulders . when she drew nearer , I saw her rounded breasts , her tail was full of colors like these of the peacock . the purple , mixed with the orange of the sunrise appearance . I couldn’t believe my eyes. She was a mermaid , she was very beautiful , she was like human , but the other half was a fish . I said :

- good morning , are you the mermaid we are told about ?

- yes , I am , do you like fish ?

- yes , I do , how came you speak my language ?

- I can speak all the languages , will you come with me ?

- what ? down the river?

- yes , are you scared ?

- No , are you jinni or someone else ?

- I’m a mermaid , and my father is the king of the Nile .

I went with her , she carried me on her shoulders and dived me into the bottom . she gave me something like a mask I put on my face . I felt I could breathe . we reached a door and she pressed a button and it was open . I saw other world of palaces made of jewels and gardens made of germs of all colors . I couldn’t believe myself . I told her why she chose me . she said she knew me a long time ago , and she came in my dreams . she said she loved me and waited for me . she knew Fathia and Leila . she told me about my mother and my friends Gaffer , Mabrok and Ayman , as though she was living with me . was I watching a film ? was I dreaming ? no I couldn’t be dreaming , I touch her soft body

- what will you do with me ? I said ,

- I ‘ll take you to my father .

- to do what ?

- I’ll ask him to marry you ?

- I don’t want to get married now . and if I do , will I marry like this ? who are you after all ?

We arrived at unbelievable palace I couldn’t describe , it was full of crystal , jewels gold and lights . I didn’t know where they brought such lights . trees full of fruits of all kinds . is it the paradise ? but it couldn’t be down the river .she suddenly said :

- don’t forget that I’m a woman and I know you love women , don’t get panic and don’t get shy .

- I ‘ll see , that will be later on . where is your bedroom ?

- I’ll show it to you when we finished meeting my father , she said blushingly .

After a while we came to the court of her father , there were great soldiers with their bright weapons , well dressed . her father was wearing a large crown full of jewels , on his head but there was something[ missing in the middle of the crown . he was wearing a nice cloak , sitting on a magnificent throne , he said :

- why you came here ?

- I don’t know , your daughter brought me here .

- why did you bring him here Radobis ? – her real name -

- because I love him and I want to marry him .

- he can’t marry you unless he fetches the missing diamond of my crown , said the king.

- who took it ? I dared to ask.

- The king of the seas ; Poseidon , he was jealous of me , because every year the Egyptians descend to me a bride of theirs in the time of fertility . they wish the flood may be good to grow all the lands .

Radobis and I set off on our voyage . I call her mermaid from now forward . we crossed Rosetta and Damietta to the Mediterranean , she brought some food and drinks I didn’t know . how can I go and look for Poseidon ? . I wasn’t swimming , I was pushed forward , like I was riding a motor bike , we found a cave so we decided to have some rest . we ate some of the stuff she brought , it was delicious and drank something like beer , she felt asleep . she was too beautiful to resist . I kissed her , she was awake ,I hugged her body ,she was real , I felt the heat of her body , I saw her female six , it was real ,too, it was great ,t was different from Fathia’s and Leila’s – we got into a fit of sexual ecstasy.

In the morning, she gave me a strange juice and I ate something I’m not familiar with . we pushed forward , suddenly we came across a huge octopus , he attacked me and wrapped his legs or his arms around me . I was suffocating breathlessly . I thought I was going to die , all the images of my past life came to me like a film ; what I did to Fathia , how I would miss her , how Leila was beautiful , without any bones , how I would miss that all . where are you my fish ? I thought . she took out a dagger of her waist . she cut the arms of the octopus . I was released at last and it ran away . we kept on going , but how I could bring back the missing jewel? That is really the impossible mission . why I should go after the beautiful women . I wish I hadn’t seen her . many strange sort of fish passed me they said hello to Radobis, she was a famous figure . I saw some wreckage of ancient ships . I thought there might be gold treasures inside these primitive ships , but if I found these treasures , how I’d carry them back to land again ?

The life below the Nile is different from the life on top of me . no pollution , no crowd or traffic jam , no cheat , no hypocrisy. Only truth and honesty . the mermaid loves me honestly . she insisted on meeting me and taking me down to her world . what is that I saw two monsters like enormous snakes came out of the ship wreckage . they fought fiercely each other . only Radobis could deal with them . they talked to each other in a strange language . they went away , we came near the guards of the sea , the waters of the Nile can go to the sea , but the guards armed with strange weapons prevent the waters of the sea to mix with the Nile .

I found a lot of sardines in the sea . the Egyptians can’t catch all these fish , they don’t have the modern equipments as the Italians or the Spanish , the High Dam withstands the fertility of the Nile . It stored all the mud and the nutrients of the fish like the sardines behind .

We saw a cave . when we entered we found an old man ,he has a long white beard , he seems like a monk or a sheikh worshipping Allah .

see visions and views because the self; or rather, the soul is the mirror

of the universe . the Sufi’s heart is crystal , while the commons’ hearts

are dark.

- the three religions Judaism , Christianity , and Islam are one . but I belong to the last one . Judaism had Kabala, Christianity had nunnery and monkship , Muslims had Sufism , and the Indians had Nirvana .

- what is the beginning of Sufism in Islam ? I asked .

- First , Muhammad the messenger ( peace be upon him ) in the cave of Haraa then in the life of the messenger’s friends like Abu Zar El Ghefari , the people of ” El Soffa ” . they restricted and secluded for worship . the messenger didn’t deny what they do .

- how is it in Judaism ?

- Kabala , is a purifying trend , based on getting rid of sensational demands and contemplating the secrets of the letters and figures . that give a spiritual knowledge outrun the appearance of sciences . this spiritual trend played a great role making the Jews endure the Christian oppression campaigns in the middle ages

- how did it take place in Christianity ?

- the Romans who occupied Egypt forced the farmers to plant wheat and they take what they yield to Roma , so the farmers in Egypt , ran away to the desert . when Christianity outbroke , this escape becomes a religious tendency . the runners dreamed of community without injustice.

- what do you get from Sufism ?

- we don’t need anything material here , I can find jewels and diamonds

everywhere but I don’t need them , I don’t need this world . it is an

experience nobody feel it .

- do you mean it is the desertion of the pleasures and the journey to Allah ? .

- yes, that is right.

- are you not bored being alone here? .

- no, I can see angels , prophets , paradises ,I can eat food from heavens

the universe to me is like a ball , I can go anywhere .

- no, it is something bestowed not hoped .

- yes , I do and I know Fathia , Leila and Salma and ..but I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have told you that I know , I’ll ask Allah to forgive me .

- Adam is the beginning of the creation . First , Allah created the jinni’s and the angels , the angels worship God . it is their message to do so , the jinni’s were fighting and killing each other . the origin of the jinni’s is fire . the angels , came from light , some of them , are standing reciting their prayers others are kneeling down ever for ever , others are prostrating billions of years and , on the doomsday they will say ” we haven’t worshipped you as much as you deserve ” . when Allah told them” I make a successor” or Khalifa on earth , the angels opposed the idea . they said ” do you want to create those who shed blood and kill each other “? God answered ” I know what you can’t know” ,. That means Allah loves man more than anything else . He put from his spirit on man . science and information were laid inside man , as well as desires and spirit . man is the manifestation of God’s capability in making the neutral moves , Allah is the mover of the movements . Moreover , it is through Adam ,Muhammad ; the messenger can come from , as if all this universe was created for Muhammad , as if Muhammad was the father of Adam , not otherwise . Muhammad presided the prophets as Imam in prayers before ascending to God where nobody reached or will reach , where he was dedicated the Quran . Allah always and ever address Muhammad as if he were the only avowed and admitted person to speak with or to be trusted. so when Allah order the angels to prostrate for Adam that can be interpreted as a sign of deep respect to this miracle . the angles received a tough lesson , because Allah taught Adam all the names of the things the angels didn’t know . they told Allah “no science we know unless You taught us ” , never to argue again only to subject to God’s willing . the true man who never argues and the most obedient and submissive to God is Muhammad . He faced his strong tribe and relatives . He told them to cancel their worship to stones and statures beside God . Allah created Adam from a handful taken from all the earth . Sons of Adam came according to the same earth . some of them were red , white , black and in between , the cunning , the kind and the in – between . Allah asked the angels the names of things , they didn’t know , but Adam knew everything , Allah taught him .

- what is the way to God ? I asked .

- my son , we are our Allah’s manufacture. The Messenger Muhammad said ” our hearts are amid Allah’s hands who can turn them over as he wishes” . If I surrender myself and heart to Allah , he will take care of them , as in the case of our sleep .we give in ourselves to Allah , He the Generous, ; the glorified take our souls in his hospitality . If I get rid of the internal diseases , that is hatred , envy and jealousy, I’ll be purified . how can I overcome these human diseases which last a long time to heal? .

To train yourself not to look at other people’s properties. they will be perished . they will be transported to other inherents . you are not going to take gold or money with you . Allah will be responsible for your soul in the Isthmus . treat other people kindly the Messenger said , ” Allah may mercy anyone who is kind to people in selling , buying and suing” . the person who helps his neighbour . to salute everyone ( peace be on you ) that is the greeting of Islam . the constant process of worship is the cure of the heart and the soul .

It is enjoyable to worship Allah , you ‘ll find consolation comfort and pleasure .there are some people who find joy in flirting women , in gambling , in drinking wine , in killing people , in robbing people , if a muslim kills another one as if he killed all the people . Make yourself humble , not to be arrogant because you have better degrees , or social position in life . Muhammad who went up to heaven , who saw God and spoke with him directly , who opened Mecca and became the lord of all the Arabian Peninsula , used to eat with the slaves , speaking with the children , smiling at his friends , forgiving his enemies , he said to Quriesh when he conquered Mecca ;” go you are free ” . how about taking Muhammad as an example , but you have to struggle yourself to love Muhammad . you should take into consideration to have good manners which take three aspects : good manners with our lord . with the messenger and with other people ,we are asked to love Muhammad much more than ourselves , our sons , and our properties . if you achieve this point you ‘ll be a good Muslim and he ‘ll meet you on the Doomsday . Muhammad will help you walk on the right track safely , up to the basin of Muhammad where he’ll give you a drink ‘ never to be thirsty again , up to neighboring him in his paradise .

To communicate with our lord through glorification is very significant .it profounds faith in the heart of the believer ; since he always remembers the constant grandeur of Allah . it makes the tongue wet glorifying Allah . Glorification means you nullify any defect from Allah’s attributes . ” Everything in the universe glorifies Allah but you don’t recognize their praising” you are to believe in the absolute oneness of Allah , in all his prophets and messengers . to believe in the miracle of Israa and Miraj ( the escalation of Muhammad to Heavens ) and to believe in what he saw and what he did . Allah has the first world and the last one . everything belongs to him in the end . He knows those who went astray and those who went on the right track . He owns what in Heavens and what on Earth. He created death and life to punish those who did wrong and recompense those who did good . He is the knower of what he created . He created the couple ; the male and the female .

Man is responsible for his deeds , to supplicate to Allah and thank him for his blessings , to be careful of his warnings and to prepare yourself to the Hereafter which is horrible , to submit to Allah through prostration, obedience and worship . the precious apple of our worship to God is the five prayers , especially when they are done congregationally with other people , or at least the night and the dawn prayers . Muhammad said if you prayed the former , as if you stayed up half of the night worshiping Allah and the latter as if you prayed all night. Allah didn’t want us to be left alone.

Allah is the only truth , your career , company , factory, ships, planes , women and children are nothing ” scattered dust” , ” they will pass away” . suppose you work all the time without relief , it will be disastrous .suppose you have all the pleasures of life , the most appetising food, the most beautiful women , and the most luxurious palaces, you will commit suicide in the end . the person who clings to prayers , never feel depressed . train yourself to sleep early and wake up at night , do ablution , recite Quran or glorify Allah or pray on Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) . you wait for the time of the dawn prayer . that is a hidden pleasure , to be alone with Allah , it is the act of the angels who worship Allah for billions and billions of years . to be united with Allah so that He can be your sight and your hand.

- are you bored my son?

- no sir , go on please .

- the believer thinks that he is nothing at all comparing to the power of the Almighty . he thinks what he is doing is not sufficient . he needs to do more of prayers and glorification . he believes what he says and acts are watched and written on his book by the angels on his right and on his left . he doesn’t transgress the legislations of Allah , He is the One who Counts . Muhammad said ” the apple of my eyes were made in prayers” so , prayers is the manifestation of the relation between Allah and man . it is the application of man’s submissiveness to Allah . the freedom of man is being a slave to Allah . man’s freedom begins when he admits his slavery to Allah . man has nothing to do with his sleep , his waking again , the air he breathes , the food he digests , the circulation of the blood , his desire to marry , how his children were born . man is a peg in the machine of the universe which goes on and on. if you forget Allah, Allah will forget you . man will be remembered and will be saved if he remembers and worships Allah all the time , by His turn Allah won’t leave you alone . if you make some mistakes or sins , you have the ablution to purify and the five prayers to ask Allah for forgiveness . But if you commit any sin , there will be a black dot in your heart , by and by, your heart will be blackened , then , it is rough and relentless , it won’t be affected by any remorse or conscience . people who cheat , rob others , and kill people have black hearts which can’t be cured . the only cure is to remove the black dots . if he has luck his heart will respond to remedy . in fact that needs a strong will , patience , intention and struggling one’s self . indeed , man will always be in a war with himself and the devil; who marries his self . . it is a long way my son , but it is worthy of being trodden .

- can I ask you another question ?

- yes , my son .

- who made the utopian city and where ?

- Plato failed . there was a lot of injustice , but Muhammad the messenger set up a utopian city in El Medina.

The glorious Quran descended on the messenger , he legislated to people their worship , their manners and led their economical , social and political lives . He planted in their souls a lenient creed governing their emotions . Religion turned to be the spirit of their community . Quran turned to be the source of every motion and the radiation which lights the hearts and guide them to the route of direction to this world and the hereafter .

The divine law turned to be the rules and legislation the muslins follow , the tribal community ; where individualism and abhorrence used to prevail , turned out to be an adherent nation , all of its son, full of spiritual vigilance which opened their hearts and filled them with the lights of faith , the springs of wisdom emerged in the hearts and transferred to the tongues and the behaviour .

The revelation of God managed in several years to build up an integral society . It had no childhood or youth , but rational manhood . It was made by God . The Book of Allah adjusted the believer’s thought , atmosphere and overshadowed all aspects of conflict . Yathreb ” Medina) was the location of the prostitutes where the youth and the old men of Arabian Peninsula set out to enjoy whores of the lords of El Awes and El Khazrag and the girls of the Jew .

Quran came to prohibit obscenity and blasphemy , these , were pulled down from Medina . The caravans used to bring wine from Levant. Every feast or session for the Arabs to celebrate it . But God banned wine , this , was spilt in the roads. The society used to scorn women and some of the Arabs killed their baby girls . The woman didn’t have the right to possess properties or inherit them ; Quran legislated her rights back again . The rich didn’t imagine the poor to have a share and right in their fortunes . they didn’t bear in mind that they store God’s money and they are only guards . They accepted what God asked them to do without a conflict between the classes and without blood baths .

The messenger persuaded them to work and opened to them the doors of trade , he said ; “ nine tenth of earning is in trade “ . the freedom of work was opened to them without the fear of the dictatorship of money. God regulated the way how to behave in the fruit of work . God persuade the Muslims to spend their money and imposed on the rich alms. God imposed the system of bequeathing to split the fortunes so as not to be piled up in the hands of few wealthy people , so , its message(money) would be delayed .

The leader of the tribe had all the rule and sovereignty . He governs the people according to his whims or according to customs and traditions . When Islam came , its first foundation was the testimony of no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.

Islam nullified deity away from anybody else but Allah . People have only one God who has only the right of legislation and drawing the system of life to his creatures and that Muhammad is the witness of certification that prohibitions that came from Quran were brought from God .

They used not to approve the marriage of an honorable lady with a slave. They thought it was shameful and disgraceful . Meanwhile , God wants to establish the fact that all “People are alike and they are from Adam “, God ordered his messenger to marry his cousin Zeinab daughter of Gash , the honorable to his slave Zeid Ebn Haratha . When the messenger asked her folk to engage her to Zeid , they got angry , but God descended a verse saying “No he or she believer if God and his messenger judged something , they have no choice . he who disobeys God and his messenger , he gets lost terribly ” .

Zeinab said ” we hear and obey what God and his messenger said “

She married Zeid Ebn Haratha . By so doing , she broke an arbitrary tradition which degraded the dignity of humanity .

Likewise the traditions abhorred the marriage of the master to marry the divorced woman of one’s adopted son . The messenger had adopted Zeid and married him to his cousin according to God’s orders . Zeid asked the messenger to divorce his wife for him .

God wants to clarify the consciences of the believers from the bad habits of pre- Islamic ignorance , and to restore pride to humanity and to recompense Zeinab who married the messenger later ; because of her obedience to God and the messenger’s orders .God asked the messenger to marry Zeinab himself .

Medina was alloying to be an international country based on religion calling for the oneness of Allah and agree with the logic of life and lead to the happiness of this life and the hereafter . The revelation of Heaven descended on Earth to direct people to their relations with God and their relations with each other and organize their political , social, and economical lives .

The messenger was careful to bring up the souls and the horses to compose an army to defend the newly born religion . The messenger conquered the hearts with his honesty and his grand behaviour . He opened the hearts with the glorious Quran .

Good people from the immigrants and the supporters surrounded him , on the other hand , the enemies of reform who were afraid of the demolishing of their interests united together to put out the light of Allah . The leader of the new renaissance had to defend his Utopia which was found on earth by God’s support . He prepared the men spiritually and militarily to advocate the light which descended on them and to be ready to be martyrs for its sake .

The messenger succeeded in planting virtues in their souls .He connected them with truth , chastity , loyalty , fraternity , propagating peace and love , caring with the rights and to be interested in the Muslims’ matters . He taught them to call people politely , following the legislation of Allah . They were taught from Quran and the messenger that “ No obligation in religion “ The muslim armies didn’t march to oblige people to enter Allah ‘s religion but to defend themselves and conquer injustice, to be good with other people although they do not follow the same religion . to be mediocre in everything , no good in extremism nor in looseness .

Salman ; the Persian stayed some days with Abu El Dardaa in one house , he used to pray all night and fast all day .Salman persuaded him not to fast all days except in Ramadan , Abu Dardaa said :

- You prevent me to fast and pray for God .

- Your eyes have right on you likewise your wife ; fast and break your fast , pray and sleep . the messenger was told about that he said :

- Salman has been saturated with science .

the messenger persuaded his friends to request science anywhere and to take to justice and goodness . He advises his friends saying :

- Do good to who he did you harm . give to who he forbade you . forgive he who did injustice to you and visit those who abandoned you , you will be truly believer .

He breathed out the Islamic spirit in his friends’ souls . He showed Allah’s right , the society right , the shepherd’s right and the subject’s right . He said :

- Allah is pleased with three things for you :

To worship Allah and don’t participate with him anything , to stick to Allah’s rope all of you and never dissipate and advise your ruler ” ..

The policy which the governors or rulers of the Muslims, to be nominated, was drawn in the Utopia. The ruler must look for the best people to work with him without any regard to kinship or friendship . some people came to the messenger to be nominated as governors ,

He said:

- we don’t nominate those who ask for it .

He told Abu Zar about the governship

- It is an honesty, , it is on Doomsday shame and regret , except he who takes it with its right and did what he had to do . He said :

- If honesty is lost wait the Hour (the Doomsday).

- Messenger of Allah how is it lost?

- If it comes to those who do not deserve it. He also said :

- All of you are shepherds and all are responsible for his herd. The ruler who governs is a shepherd and responsible for his subjects. The woman in her husband’s house is a shepherd and responsible for her herd. The boy is a shepherd to his father’s money and responsible for his herd. And the slave is a shepherd to his master’s money and responsible for his herd. All of you a shepherd and responsible for his herd .

He offered the leadership of wars to the brave strong man and the Judging to the knowest, the most pious and the efficient.

He put the foundation of the taxation and alms. He drew the policy of procuring alms and persuaded the Muslims to perform it. He said:

- The one who bans alms and Zakat is not Muslim. This who does not perform it has no prayers.

- The worker of procuring alms truly is like the conqueror for God’s sake.

He was sleeping on a mattress filled with straw, wearing a shirt up to the half of his leg.

He was always smiling, his manners is soft. He was neither rough nor cruel man. He didn’t shout, he didn’t speak about the faults of people. He was shaking hands with the slaves and the boys . He was kidding with the children and the old people.

He accepted the invitation of the free man, the slave, the woman and the poor. He was mending his slippers, milking his sheep, riding his donkey, sewing his clothes, grinding with the servant and eating with him, carrying his articles from the market, saluting the poor and the rich, mixing with his friends and talking with them merrily, and playing with their children.

He taught the immigrants.. Their women and the supporters, how the virtuous life on earth can be. He explained the religious track for life . He changed their souls by the good example and the good recommendations. He filled the souls with pride, dignity and good manners; he prevented them from that destructive bitter vacuum; the fruit of sensational joy, the hollowness of life, the spiritual sterility and loose liberal manners which abide in the bosom of vice for moments, then becoming captive to the whims and evils.

The Islamic spirit was prevailing in Medina and his friends look at him carefully and listen to him attentively. He is the lighthouse of the humanity and the good paragon to those who hope for Allah and the Doomsday. The messenger, everyday, is flooding with humanity, teaching them lessons in the cleanliness of the matrimonial life , the sublime of fatherly love , the compassion of the ruler ; his strict justice and the fair judgment in the efficacy of the leader , the submissiveness of the worshipper, in mingling life with the Hereafter and join earth with Heavens . He made work a kind of worshipping. He didn’t approve piling up fortunes and usury. What happened in the financial banks of the world, the bankruptcy of banks is a war from God against usury.

- can you give me an example of one of his conquest against polytheism ? I was charmed by his sweet talk so I asked again to learn .

- yes it is the trench conquest , as a matter of fact , the idolaters made a coalition and conquered Medina . In this conquest , we can see many manifestations of democracy from the part of Muhammad ; the messenger. The Jews Banu El Nadeer in Medina betrayed the accord made between them and the messenger . He went to Banu El Nadeer with his friends , but the Jews wanted to throw a rock on him . The messenger was told about their conspiracy. He went back to Medina . The messenger envoyed Muhammad Ebn Mussalama to tell them to leave the city because they showed betrayal . He said :

The messenger said ; you are put off for ten days ,.anyone of you if seen after that , will be killed. They consulted the head of hypocrisy ; Abdullah Ebn Obei Ebn Salol , They made up their minds to declare mutiny and preparation for war inside their reinforced fortifications .

They sent their leader Hoiei Ebn Akhtab to the messenger saying

- we won’t get out of our homes . Do as you wish . the army of the Muslims besieged them until they get tired . they sent someone to the messenger telling him that :

- we get out of the city .

He requested them to get out of the city carrying their baggage and money as much as the camels can carry , except their weapons , they will be kept behind .

They left for Kheibar , some others went to Levant . Their lords who went to Kheibar were Salam Ebn Abu El Hakik , Kenana Ebn El Rabe’ Ebn Abu El Hakik and Hoiei Ebn Akhtab .

The messenger said :

-these are in their folks as honorable as Banu El Mogera in Quriesh .

These lords of Banu El Nadeer had rancor in their hearts because of the forced departure of their lands . They didn’t forget what the messenger did with them .

They thought to go to Quriesh and the other Arabian tribes to make a coalition against the messenger ; to persuade them to fight the Muslims and eradicate them before they became too strong over the whole Arabian country .

When they reached Mecca , they were received welcomingly by the lords of Quriesh . In the symposium of “ El Nadwa “ . the negotiations were done to wage war against the messenger . they said :

- we will be with you till we terminate him .

the new religion of Muhammad occupied their minds they asked the Jews:

-You folks of the Jews , you had the first Book , you are people of letters , tell us which religion is better ours or Muhammad’s? . Although they knew the correct answer , they said :

- your religion is better than his .

Ironically , the people of the first Book , who realized the message of monotheism alleged that Paganism is better than the worship of one God .

It is delusion deserves damnation . God damned them in the Quran . Quriesh was pleased at what the Jews said . They prepared themselves for war . They convened in the house of the “ forum “ Hakim Ebn Hazam , Abu Sofian Ebn Harb, Safwan Ebn Omeiya and sons of El Mogera were plotting against the messenger of Islam .

Kenana Ebn Abu El Hakik went to the sons of Ghadafan persuading them to fight the messenger on condition that they get half the dates of Khabeir . He informed them that Quriesh agreed to go with them .

Oieina Ebn Hesn El Fazari responded to him .

The banner of war was held in the house of El Nadwa ; the banner was carried by Othman Ebn Talha whose heart was full of rancor because his father was killed on Ohod Day , as well as his two uncles and his four brothers , in other words he was eager to revenge .

Quriesh set off , presided by Abu Sofian Ebn Harb . they were four thousand persons , having three hundred horses and one thousand camels. They went to Morr El Zahran . they met sons of Sleem . They were seven hundred presided by Sofian Ebn Abd Shams an ally to Harb Ebn Omeiya . Sons of Assad led by Toleiha Ebn Khoiyeld El Assdi . Ghadafan and Fazara were having one thousand camels led by Oieynna Ebn Hesn Ebn Hoziefa , sons of Morra were four hundred led by El Hareth Ebn Auf , Ashga’ were four hundred led by Mossar Ebn Rokhiela and many others joined the army of the coalition who were ten thousand persons presided by Abu Sofian . They all set out on to Medina .

Khoza’ loved the messenger , some of them went to Medina to inform him about Quriesh and sons of El Nadeer who were on their way to Medina to finish off Islam .

When the messenger heard about this terrible news he invoked his people convene, he said :

- Shall we get out of Medina or stay at home ?

Coming out of Medina to confront this tremendous power ; the Arabs didn’t know before- was a terrible , uncertain adventure . it wasn’t easy to defend Medina . the houses were connected to each other for a long distance like a fortified wall , the northern borders were guarded by a slippery cliff , and sons of Qurieza were the last Jewish tribe remaining there guarding the back of it .

They made an accord with the messenger to participate with him to defend Medina . Could they fulfill their promise , if something wrong happens , they didn’t forget that the messenger expelled sons of Quienoka’ and sons of El Nadeer ; the most powerful Jewish tribes . the direct dilemma was the south and the east south ; the uncovered part of Medina , it is the road of El Medina gardens . It is very easy for any force to penetrate Medina and attack it . How to solve this problem ? , fifty cavaliers can’t stand against three hundred ones , three thousand fighters can’t afford well – equipped ten thousand fighters .

Salman ; the Persian had an idea , he said to the messenger :

- messenger of Allah , when we were in Persia , if we were terrified , we set up a trench around us . He suggested to dig a trench along the open front of Medina . This was something new for the Arabs ; they used to fight a man for a man . Some Muslims didn’t like the idea , they took it for cowardice , but the messenger accepted the proposition . The messenger got on his horse with his supporters to the site of the trench where he diagrammed its location .

the Muslims borrowed the digging instruments from the sons of Qurieza and began to work on the trench hard , while Salman was giving his advice . they had to finish it before Abu Sofian Ebn Harb and the coalition troops come to fight them . Abdullah Ebn Obei and the hypocrites persuaded the Muslims to go to the Jews inside their fortifications , leaving Muhammad and his friends to meet their end, but the believers refused to accept their advice .

the messenger made Abdullah Ebn Om Ma’etoom his deputy on Medina . he camped with the Muslims at the bottom of a mountain called Sala in the Medina market . The messenger carried dust with them as well as Abu Bakr and Omar.
